Join Stroud Water Research Center and Trout Unlimited for STREAM Girls, a FREE hands-on outdoor watershed experience that combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) with recreational fly-fishing to empower today’s girls to become tomorrow’s leaders. Spend the morning discovering wriggling stream bugs, learning the art of fly-tying, and exploring freshwater habitats studied year-round by real scientists. Then, travel to a public fishing spot at a local park to learn fly-casting from master anglers and, fingers and fins crossed, hopefully catch a live fish!
Want to volunteer your fly-tying or fly-fishing skills to empower today’s girls to become tomorrow’s leaders?
