The Chester County Water Resources Authority (CCWRA) is pleased to announce that a virtual Stormwater Summit will be held on Friday, April 16th from 9:00-11:00 AM. CCWRA staff will present on the updates to the County’s Stormwater Management Model Ordinance and the County-wide Stormwater Management Plan. The presentation will review the timeline for the update process and will highlight some of the changes required to keep the model ordinance consistent with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s 2022 Model Ordinance for MS4 municipalities. This event will also provide attendees with the opportunity to provide feedback on the provisions in the County’s current model ordinance and to provide input on additional topics to be addressed in the updated stormwater management plan.
Additional presentations will include an update on the County-wide Action Plan for meeting nutrient and sediment reductions to the Chesapeake Bay, an update on Landscapes3 implementation, and a review of the County’s most recent Hazard Mitigation Plan.
